Notes from an Unreformed 'Star Wars' Collector: Rounding Out the Big Three from 'Return of the Jedi'

Hi, there, Dear Reader. Long time, no see, right?
This won't be a super-duper long post; I already wrote a super-duper long review of Hasbro's Star Wars The Black Series Chewbacca & C-3PO deluxe 2-figure set and I don't feel like sitting here at my desk for another two hours writing.

I do, of course, want to let you know that my collection of Star Wars The Black Series figures will (or should, depending on the reliability of a third-party seller on Amazon) grow by one more figure by Thursday the 22nd.
You see, a few weeks ago I bought Han Solo (Endor), a 2021 Star Wars The Black Series figure and a modern counterpart of Kenner's Han Solo (in Trench Coat) figure from 1984. I then wrote a review of it for my WordPress blog - you know, the blog I had to start a year ago because this one is blocked on Facebook.
This, more or less, is what my Luke Skywalker (Endor) figure looks like now. Photo Credit: Hasbro © 2021 Hasbro and Lucasfilm Ltd. |
I thought that would be it as far as new figures go, at least for this month, when I decided to see if there was a Luke Skywalker (Endor) figure to complement Han. Amazon has it, so I ordered one, which arrived at my Tampa-area house (well, it's not my house, but it's where I live) on Friday.
My rationale: Luke and Leia are twins, so if I have one, I need the other. Photo Credit: Hasbro. © 2021 Hasbro and Lucasfilm Ltd. |
I thought that purchase would be it for April of 2021, but now that I had two-thirds of the Big Three Heroes of the Rebellion, I felt that I needed Princess Leia Organa (Endor) to complete the set. So, less than an hour ago, I ordered that figure as well.
If Tay's Corner is an honest broker, I should be getting my Endor Leia sometime around Thursday, maybe before then if I'm lucky.
We'll see what develops, I guess.
