Talking About the Trump Administration: Are people being too harsh on Ivanka Trump for attending world leader meetings with her father?

Are people being too harsh on Ivanka Trump for attending world leader meetings with her father?
It depends on who you ask.
If you ask the more fanatical Republicans (aka the Party That Lost Its Collective Mind), the “evil Demonrats” are so mean to the lovely Ivanka Trump simply because she’s gorgeous, blonde, and nothing like the previous First Daughters, Sasha and Malia. Her father is “the Best President Ever,” so he’s entitled to give Ivanka and her hubby Jared Kushner plum jobs in his Administration, even though there’s no evidence that either one is qualified to have a government position higher than Assistant to the Chief Dogcatcher in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
If you ask the rest of us, including serious-minded conservatives who disapprove of what the Twitterer-in-Chief is doing to the U.S. and the wider world in general, then no. People have every right to be “harsh” on Ivanka because she has no business attending important meetings and summits with other heads of state. She has never studied foreign relations, national security issues, or government/political science, so she unqualified to play Little Miss Diplomat at her father’s side.

In June of 1963, five months before the assassination of President John Fitzgerald Kennedy, Warner Bros. released director Leslie Martinson’s  PT-109 , an adaptation of Robert J. Donovan’s non-fiction book  PT-109: John F. Kennedy in World War II.   Starring Cliff Robertson ( Charly, Spider-Man ) as Navy Lieutenant (junior grade) John F. Kennedy and co-starring Ty Hardin, James Gregory, Robert Culp, Robert Blake, Norman Fell and even an uncredited George Takei (Hikaru Sulu of  Star Trek: The Original Series ), the film is a fairly accurate depiction of JFK’s naval service in the South Pacific as the commander of a motor torpedo boat given the Navy pennant number PT-109 (the PT standing for the Navy ship designator “Patrol Torpedo”).  Although Hollywood had made movies in which former Presidents (either living or dead) were depicted, producer Bryan Foy, under the direct guidance of Warner Bros.' head of production Jack Warner (who, in turn, was influenced by Joseph P.
